Advocating for the Environment
Advocating for the environment included going to rallies and protests to address corporate and government greed and disregard to the environment. It involved attempting to convince the non-believers that global warming and climate change is real and needs to be addressed. While positive progress was made, our existing administration is less supportive and are turning back the clock in this area. You can see that Vista Grande United Church of Christ played an active role in this area of concern.
