Advocating for the LGBTQIA+ Community
Advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community comes easy for me given I believe all people are worthy, welcomed and loved. Additionally, it is personal to me as my family believes in being inclusive. It was extremely devastating what happened to our community with the Club-Q shooting in 2022. I support this community in all ways, and again, my Vista Grande United Church of Christ in intimately involved too, supporting such organization and events like "Inside Out Youth Services" and "Pikes Peak Pride".
